Buying Services on Yapture Studio
1. Browse Providers
Visit the Studio provider marketplace in the Yapture app to see all approved service providers. Filter by specialty (Development, Design, Marketing, etc.) or view only featured providers. The public Market service is available at market.yapture.com.
2. Start a Project
Click "Start a Project" on any provider's listing, or go directly to app.yapture.com/studio/signup. You'll create an organization and be guided through onboarding.
3. Onboarding
Describe your project needs via text or voice recording. Your provider will review the intake and reach out to scope the engagement.
Voice onboarding: Recording uses browser-based Whisper transcription. No audio leaves your device unless the browser fallback is triggered.
4. Your Dashboard
Once onboarded, manage your projects at https://app.yapture.com/studio/:orgId. Here you can:
- View and manage projects
- Invite team members with role-based access
- Communicate with your provider via the task system
- Track milestones and deliverables
5. Tagging Your Provider with DSL Tokens
Once you have an active engagement, you can tag your provider directly in any task or note using DSL tokens. This dispatches work requests and keeps everything connected.
Use the #$yap:studio:provider-slug pattern:
// Tag your provider in a task
"Update the landing page hero section #$yap:studio:foobar-studio"
// Tag a specific team member at the provider
"Review the API docs #$yap:studio:foobar-studio:jamie"
// Request a specific service category
"Need new brand assets #$yap:studio:foobar-studio:design" Autocompletion: You do not need to type the full token. Start typing #$ followed by a few characters and the system will suggest matching providers and team members from your cached relationships.
See DSL Actions for the full token syntax reference.
6. Billing
Invoices are created by your service provider and sent via Stripe. You'll receive an email with a secure payment link. View all invoices at /studio/:orgId/billing.
- Status tracking: Draft → Sent → Paid
- Payment via credit card or bank transfer
- Automatic receipt generation
- Invoice history and downloadable PDFs
